WELCOME OUR INTERIM RECTOR

The Wardens and Vestry are pleased to announce that our Interim Rector, The Rev. Dr. Richard Laribee will be joining us the first week in January. Rev. Laribee, Rick, is retired but has most recently been serving as the Rector of Christ Church, West River, MD. Prior to that he has served parishes in Maryland and Watertown, NY. He has extensive experience as a leader of mission trips and pilgrimages. Rick describes himself as a “passionate traveler” having explored and photographed natural, cultural, historical and religious sites throughout the world. His interests include Christian spiritual disciplines and practices, especially the contemplative discipline. Rick and his wife, Kim, have family in the Syracuse area. They will be looking for a home in the Geneva area. Please join us in welcoming Rick and Kim to St. John’s and Canandaigua.
